Job Summary
The Prevention Navigator will support the Harm Reduction Team at Wabanaki Public Health & Wellness by facilitating cultural and educational events regarding substance use and behavioral health, aiming to promote healing and recovery within communities.
Required Qualifications
- Education and professional experience in substance use, prevention, and/or harm reduction or psychology, social work, public health, and/or mental health-related fields
- Strong understanding of Harm Reduction principles
- Ability to facilitate groups and trainings
- Training in trauma informed care, crisis prevention, de-escalation, and prevention
- Certification in HIV / HCV screening / testing
- Active BLS/CPR certification
Additional Requirements
- Must pass criminal background check
